The Austral University Hospital is a teaching hospital in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
The hospital is a non-profit civil association and is dedicated to general and highly complex medical care, teaching, and medical research activities. It is considered to be one of the best hospitals in Argentina, and among the best in Latin America. It received the Joint Commission International Gold Seal of approval in 2013.

The hospital has over 80 medical specialties, complete diagnostic and treatment equipment, a Research Institute, and a Tissue Bank. It is part of the Austral University Academic Center of Health, along with the School of Biomedical Sciences.

The hospital's university professors are involved in teaching at the School of Medicine of the Austral University. They also participate in postgraduate teaching courses and national and international conferences. The university has several Masters and Doctorate Degree Courses.

In healthcare, the goal is to provide quality medical and human care, with innovation and constant professional training, allowing adequate treatment to patients, with rapid rehabilitation to their daily life, work, and sports.
The Orthopedics and Traumatology Department covers the assistance of all subspecialties.
 
The Foot and Ankle center is integrated into an Orthopedics and Traumatology Department, with different fellows and 11 Residents. The Foot and Ankle Center is involved in the diagnosis and treatment of orthopedic, traumatic, congenital or acquired deformities, and tumor pathologies, based on the latest scientific evidence and continuous innovation. Is a prestigious center that performs conventional and minimally invasive surgery, reconstructive surgery, ankle arthroplasty, and arthroscopic surgery.
The activity of the Foot and Ankle Centre is based on diagnostic and treatment protocols, the continuous improvement of quality of care, teaching, and research. We carry out 14000 medical consultations and performed 900 surgeries per year. Our team includes three senior staff members, one junior staff, and two-foot and ankle fellows. All members of the Foot and Ankle surgery team belong to the Argentina Foot and Ankle Society (SAMeCiPP).

- Fractures of leg, ankle, and foot. Ankle and foot instability.
- Orthopedic pathologies of foot and ankle.
- Minimally invasive surgery.
- Rheumatic diseases.
- Peripheral nerves injuries in the lower limb.
- Congenital pathologies of lower extremity.
- Ankle arthroplasty.
- Ankle and foot arthroscopy.
- Microsurgical flaps for lower extremity.
- Reconstruction surgery in deformities.
- Infection treatment.
- Diabetic foot surgeries.
- Tumors surgery and reconstruction.
