The first edition of the IBRA Flash Insights 2026 marks a new chapter for IBRA’s communication. Published in two editions for the first time, Flash Insights provides an overview of current developments, global initiatives, educational activities, and inspiring stories from across the IBRA network, while the second edition will highlight scientific and academic contributions in greater depth.

This edition highlights key topics shaping the future of medicine, including Artificial Intelligence, digitalization, and robotics in healthcare, and their impact on medical research, surgical education, and clinical practice. It also features EIRA – the global network for women in Orthopaedics & CMF Surgery, developed in collaboration with Prof. Dr. Elisabet Hagert, an initiative dedicated to empowering and connecting women surgeons worldwide through education, mentorship, research collaboration, and leadership development.

Further highlights include insights into the perspectives of young physicians on modern medical education, international fellowship experiences, and current developments within IBRA Research.
