The Amphia hospital is a tertiairy referral centre for elbow surgery in the Netherlands. We treat the entire scope of elbow surgery, including trauma, total elbow prosthesis, radial head prosthesis, corrective osteotomies of malformations using 3D patient specific surgical guides, elbow contracture treatment, arthroscopy for bone remodelling and osteochondritis dissecans, distal biceps repair or late reconstructions, (arthroscopic) stabilizations, as well as high volume care such as epicondylitis and peripheral compression syndromes such as cubital and radial tunnel syndrome.

Education
We are an orthopedic training centre with the highest license for non-university hospitals. We have a professional team including residents, dedicated specialized nurses and physician assistants who are either in training or aspiring doctors paving the way towards traineeship. This means that we have regular interdisciplinary meetings and educational moments throughout the week.
Research
We are proud to have a highly professionalized way of conducting high quality research. Having two fulltime researchers at our complete disposal to guide everyone who’s involved in research at our department means that doing research is not just much more pleasant, but also much more effective as an experience at our institute. This means guaranteed possibilities to publish high quality work that contribute to the elbow surgery community.
