The hospital functions as a level 1 treatment center in the Rhein-Main area for the seriously injured. The emercency rescue helicopter “Christoph 2” is based at the hospital. 351 beds are available for patient care mainly after trauma. Eleven departments cover more than 10.000 patients per year on an inpatient treatment basis and over 55.000 as outpatient treatment.
