About the Webinar

Hallux valgus is one of the most common diseases treated by foot and ankle surgeons. The pathogenesis has been controversial discussed for many years. Recently new and rediscovered theories have been put together to gather a new understanding of the pathobiomechanics of Hallux valgus. This leads to new and improved operation methods and techniques. The aim of this webinar is to present the new theories and their impact on Hallux valgus treatment.

Agenda

  • Limitations of the actual Hallux valgus concept and treatment options
  • Development of a “new” understanding of Hallux valgus
  • Implications for Hallux valgus treatments
