Korea University medicine anam campus is located in the heart of Seoul. The Korea University Medicine is a huge health care system composed of 3 hospitals and college of medicine. The main campus near by Anam Hospital is very beautiful and top-ranked university in Korea. The Anam hospital functions as a terminal treatment center in korea for the seriously injured patients or cancer patients care. 3 hospitals in Korea University Medicine care more than 3.79 million patients per year on an in and out patient treatment basis. Among 3 hospitals, Anam hospital has more than 1000 beds and recently a brand-new smart & intelligent hospital is under construction. As a main hospital of Korea University Medicine, Anam hospital functions as an academic hospital of the Korea University and running a hand surgery & reconstructive microsurgery fellowshipo training program.
The research interests of our hand team is a study related with nerve regeneration and nerve-machine interface for the control of bionic hand. Recently many sophisticated primates experiments are undergoing.
A short-term fellowship between 1-4 weeks is most suitable for clinical training in Hand Surgery & Reconstructive Microsurgery, and wrist arthroscopic surgery with a daily spectrum of elective cases. The participants may have experimental experiences and learn about the basic research techniques related hand and micrisurgey and cadaver dissection for flap surgery (variable according to the lab. schedule)
