
Under the leadership of Adrian Spiegel, IBRA Research Director, and in close collaboration with the IBRA Board of Directors and the Research & Education Committees, IBRA is launching two new research grant programs to further strengthen its scientific profile.
The IBRA Institute Grant and the IBRA REC Grants support clinically relevant, high‑quality research projects across the fields of Upper Limb, Lower Limb and Craniomaxillofacial surgery. While the Institute Grant focuses on application‑oriented research conducted at the IBRA Institute, the REC Grants support committee‑defined research projects addressing predefined topics of high clinical relevance.
IBRA members are invited to submit research proposals and actively contribute to advancing evidence‑based practice within the IBRA community. Find out more on the Research page.
We are pleased to announce the new IBRA North America Upper Extremity Research & Education Committee for the 2025-2027 term.
The new edition of the IBRA Flash Magazine is now available online. It highlights IBRA’s 20-year anniversary and presents strategic updates across CMF, Upper Limbs, and Lower Limbs following the International Strategy Review.
Educational offerings were expanded through accredited courses, strengthened partnerships, and international conference participation. The issue also features insights into the Traveling Fellowship in Japan and intensified collaboration with the Thai Society of Surgery for the Hand. A wide range of case reports and clinical studies showcases global expertise and innovation in surgical education.
